I hope the project comes to fruition. Grant is all but forgotten by John Q. Public today. “Wasn’t he quite the drinker?” is what I’m asked when someone thinks they know something about him.

The 1860 - 1880 era of the United States is not well known but there were many interesting people and events that would be, in Spielberg's hands, very exciting to bring to the "big screen".

It would be great if it featured DDL again as Lincoln but he says he is retired.
