An elderly Mathew Brady?

RE: Assassination Trivia - Eva Elisabeth - 06-13-2021 11:13 AM

Does he have to do with Mary TL?

RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 06-13-2021 12:10 PM

Joe, it's not Brady; Eva, the man did not have anything to do (as far as I know) with Mary Lincoln.

I've seen this image before - Mr. Ben Hur AKA Lew Wallace?

RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 06-13-2021 01:32 PM

Kudos, Eva! Indeed it is Lew Wallace. Wallace led a very active life which included serving on the military commission in 1865 after Lincoln's assassination.

Nope, it's not Bates.

Harry Hawk?

RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 06-17-2021 09:39 AM

Kudos, Joe. Yes, it's Harry Hawk. Hawk was the actor on stage at Ford's when John Wilkes Booth shot the President.

RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 06-18-2021 05:00 AM

When John Wilkes Booth shot his father at Ford's Theatre, Tad was at Grover's Theatre watching "Aladdin or The Wonderful Lamp." He was accompanied by Alphonso Donn, one of the group of Metropolitan Washington police officers assigned to the White House.

Also in the audience at Grover's was a person whose name became a part of the Lincoln assassination saga. Who was this?
