Glad Tiddings! - BettyO - 09-11-2017 09:54 AM Just heard from Roger's daughter, Sarah..... All is good! Roger, Vicki and Addie rode out the storm with nothing more than loss of lights and phone. She says he misses the forum -- and of course we MISS him, too! I told Sarah to give him our love..... don't know how long they will be in the dark, but hope it isn't too long - RE: Glad Tiddings! - Darrell - 09-11-2017 10:26 AM Very good news - thanks for sharing. RE: Glad Tiddings! - Gene C - 09-11-2017 10:36 AM Answered prayers! RE: Glad Tiddings! - wpbinzel - 09-11-2017 11:12 AM Happy to hear it! I have heard from other sources in Florida that the storm was relentless, that many trees were uprooted and there are wide spread power outages that may take several days or a week to restore. However, structural damage and threats to life were relatively minor. The biggest concern now is for those is low-lying areas and flooding. RE: Glad Tiddings! - L Verge - 09-11-2017 11:26 AM I can start breathing once again!! RE: Glad Tiddings! - Steve - 09-11-2017 11:27 AM That's great news! RE: Glad Tiddings! - Eva Elisabeth - 09-11-2017 01:24 PM Thank you, Betty, for these good news and relieving us!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad to hear! I hope power and so Roger will be back soon!!!! RE: Glad Tiddings! - Anita - 09-11-2017 02:13 PM Betty, many thanks for relieving my anxiety about Roger and Vicki. RE: Glad Tiddings! - Angela - 09-11-2017 11:45 PM Great news - thanks for sharing! RE: Glad Tiddings! - JMadonna - 09-13-2017 01:26 PM What about the Ford-Edison house ? RE: Glad Tiddings! - Eva Elisabeth - 09-13-2017 03:03 PM Obviously the house is intact, just the garden needs some "repair" as trees came down. RE: Glad Tiddings! - Gene C - 09-13-2017 04:28 PM I hope Roger is keeping a journal of his hurricane experiences, including price changes and the product shortages. Years from now when people are using his web site for Lincoln research they will say to themselves, is this the same Roger Norton that wrote that diary about his experience in Hurricane Irma. The movie was fantastic. RE: Glad Tiddings! - Gene C - 09-14-2017 10:07 AM So true Eva. The aroma's emanating from a closed refrigerator after several days of power loss can be quite memorable. (It stinks!)
