The Murder of Willie Lincoln - L Verge - 11-21-2016 11:37 AM

A new historical fiction book is due for release soon - The Murder of Willie Lincoln, authored by Burt Solomon.

While history records that Willie likely died of typhoid, this unique new "theory" has a much more sinister twist, and Lincoln assigns John Hay the task of tracking down the culprit(s).

Books like these make me squirm. Sooner or later, someone will be at a lecture and say that Willie was murdered. The reasoning will be because they "read it in a book somewhere" and therefore, it must be fact.

I agree and pretty much told the author the same thing when he urged us to carry it in the Surratt House gift shop.
