I swear that Lincoln is in the photo taken in the dining hall. Start at the first row with the backs of two men's heads. In the next row, start with the second man from the left who has his hand up to his face. Count four men directly in line behind him (the third man just has the top of his head showing). If the fourth man isn't a Lincoln doppelganger, I'm a monkey's aunt.

And the guy next to him is talking on his cell phone, discretely covered by his napkin.
(He's probably just trying to disguise his voice on the phone. "Hey, let me speak to George Townsend. Hey George, have I got a scoop for you! Guess who I'm sitting next to?"

They all look like they can't wait to start eating.

I remember meeting James Hard at the Memorial Day Parade in Rochester,NY in the 1950's.His son and I were members of the Sons of the Union War Veterans.What an historical thrill it was for me then and now!

The sheer amount of those many men waiting to be fed three times a day boggles my mind.
