Dave Taylor's speech at Tudor Hall - PaigeBooth - 04-14-2015 01:27 PM

I visited Tudor Hall this past weekend, on Sunday, April 12, 2015, to hear Dave Taylor's excellent speech about Edwin and John Wilkes Booth.

This trip was very special for me; I had the pleasure of making Dave Taylor's acquaintance in person. Dave is an eloquent speaker; he is very clear and enjoyable to listen to, and his knowledge of the Booth family is truly incredible. Thank you for your research and dedication, Dave! I also had the pleasure of meeting Kate. She too, is very knowledgeable about the assassination and is very enjoyable to talk with. I thought I would share some pictures from the event.......

Here is a picture of myself, Dave, and Kate:

Here is another picture of myself, my family, Dave and Kate; wearing the sunglasses is my dad, on the steps is my mom and grandpap, standing next to Kate is my grandma, oh ya, and that's me standing between Dave and my dad!!

It's nice to see young people with an appreciation of history. (although somehow I thought you might look more like Scarlett O'Hara)
And a nice looking group in both photo's too.

(cool tie Dave!)

I agree one hundred percent! These youngsters are our future - and they will carry the torch after we're gone. I was 26 years old when I joined Mr. James O Hall's "Baker Street Irregulars." We all learned from the very best and now it's our time to "pass it on and keep it going!"

Thank you, Paige. You made a wonderful post, and your photos are terrific.

I 100% agree on all previous posts just allow me to add, you make wonderful posts (always quality), and to me you look much better than Scarlett.
I sure can imagine Dave's speech was excellent!

With that thought in mind, Betty, I am leaning towards the 2016 Surratt conference featuring the new generation of Boothies. My working title for it now is The Lincoln Assassination: New Faces and Fresh Perspectives.

Betty, I love the "Baker Street Irregulars" analogy and name. I think it fits perfectly. A whole group of people out and about. Out on the streets so to speak - finding, observing, examining, interpreting, and passing along ideas and information that other people may have taken for granted. Go, Go Lincoln Assassination Irregulars!
