Dave, you are right. I looked at the For Immediate Release Date of September 24 and got confused on that and the month.

I'm excited to get this book. Is it me or does it look like JWB booth is shooting Lincoln while standing behind the door? My favorite picture has to be the Currier and Ives image with JWB (with the oversized head)

i saw a pre-release at the bookstore at Ford's about a month ago. Very nicely done. Good illustrations. I thinks it's well done.

If any of you fellow Marylanders (it feels good to say that) are interested in hearing Kauffman speak, I recommend you call and reserve your seats now for his Sotterley event. I called today to make my reservation, and the lady told me that they were geeting close to booking up their 120 seat capacity.

The Lincoln Forum will be meeting in Gettysburg again in November. At the end of the conference, attendees are invited to attend Dedication Day ceremonies sponsored by The Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania in the Soldiers' National Cemetery. The Fellowship has announced that Steven Spielberg will be the keynote speaker at this year's event.
