We're hoping that the book will be released a month early so that John can participate in the Authors' Hour at the Surratt conference. Sorry for not responding sooner. I had a problem logging in and then spent the weekend in Florida for a wedding.
Anyway, many thanks for your announcement and for your congratulatory message. Yes, the book is being published after 5 years of research and writing. I expect it to kick up a lot of dust, but then what has ever been accomplished in history without dust, without feathers flying, without detractors and even without ridicule. It is said that at every crossroads on the path that leads to the future, tradition has placed 10,000 men to guard the past (Maeterlinck). So much of the conventional wisdom is, in my opinion, wrong (e.g. the great kidnapping ruse that concealed the attempted decapitation of the United States Government), that controversy will follow publication as surely as night follows day. Though not released yet, the book can be pre-ordered from several on-line booksellers. Please google "decapitating the union john c fazio" for options.
