Treasures of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library - Thomas Lapsley - 10-06-2014 08:44 PM
Has anyone has comments on the new book "Treasures of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library"? I have noticed an error in page 140 that listed that the artist Lily Tolpo passed away in 2012. Mrs. Tolpo, who is 97, is still living in a nursing home in Elizabeth, IL and she is working on her autobiography.

When we go to the museum this weekend on the Springfield Tour, I will try to remember and thumb through a copy in the museum gift shop.

For those who know know her work- besides being a prolific artist on canvas- she has created great statues and busts of Lincoln, Mrs. Lincoln, and the Grants- among other others.
