The Metro section of the Washington Post had a very nice article on preparations the Smithsonian and the National Park Service are making for the 150th. I am hoping to be able to volunteer at Ford's during this time. Regardless, the week surrounding the 150th of the assassination would be a great time to visit the sites in Washington and the Surratt Society.
