[attachment=963][attachment=964][attachment=965][attachment=966][attachment=967][attachment=968][attachment=969][attachment=970][attachment=971][attachment=972][attachment=963]From the old scrap book I found, this is titled "John Wilkes Booth - the Forty-Eight Hours Preceding His Death and Capture- His Arrival at the Garrett Farm and His Bearing". This is dated December 12, no year given, and attributed to the Chicago Tribune. This would be somewhere from the 1880's to the turn of the century. Sorry for the poor photography; I'm really thinking about going and getting it professionally scanned and digitalized as it crumbles each time I turn a page. If the attached are not sufficiently readable when blown up, I'll rephotograph tomorrow.

The unfortunate part is we will never know who put this scrapbook together. An early Boothie?

Just to think how old that article is - and that we are viewing now in 2014 is amazing.
