Written by James Swanson & Daniel Weinberg.
Nice illustrated book of about 140 pages. Most of the text is in the introduction (about 24 pages). Each of the seven chapters have about one page of text each. The book centers on the trial and assassination of the Lincoln conspirators. Lots of good photographs and illustrations. My only real complaint with the book is that almost all of the letters or handwritten documents that are reproduced in the book are almost impossible to read, I wish they had included a type written transcript of them. Other than that, I think it's reasonably priced, and a nice addition to your library.
