Just thought you might wanna know.... - Hess1865 - 09-02-2014 05:49 AM

I was perusing the bargain books at Barnes & Noble yesterday, and found Ed Steers' "The Lincoln Assassination Encyclopedia' selling for the amazingly low price of $5.95!!!!
Grab it while you can.....

Thanks for the heads up Herb...I am such an Ed Steers groupie that I am sure I already have it. I have so many Lincoln books! But just in case, I think I will run over to my local B&N to see if I can grab it!

Roger, I might already have it. I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many Lincoln books I own. I will have to check...thanks!

That a great price! I bought mine two years ago for $8 and had to pay S&H, and was excited to get it at that price!
It's a great resource book.

Was it ever published in hard cover?

Bill, I am not 100% certain of this answer, but for now I will say "no." I bought it when it first came out, and a paperback version was sent to me without any other choices offered.

I prefer paperbacks as they are lighter. I always take one or two books with me, mostly in a bag on my bike, and each gram and bit of volume less makes a difference (at least I believe that). I also read books in the sauna, too boring just to sit around, and paperbacks tolerate that better.
