Just thought you might wanna know.... - Hess1865 - 09-02-2014 04:49 AM I was perusing the bargain books at Barnes & Noble yesterday, and found Ed Steers' "The Lincoln Assassination Encyclopedia' selling for the amazingly low price of $5.95!!!! Grab it while you can..... RE: Just thought you might wanna know.... - LincolnToddFan - 09-02-2014 10:26 AM Thanks for the heads up Herb...I am such an Ed Steers groupie that I am sure I already have it. I have so many Lincoln books! But just in case, I think I will run over to my local B&N to see if I can grab it! RE: Just thought you might wanna know.... - RJNorton - 09-02-2014 11:46 AM Mr. Hess, thank you for posting this. Toia, I think you will love it. It is a wonderful resource. RE: Just thought you might wanna know.... - LincolnToddFan - 09-02-2014 12:27 PM Roger, I might already have it. I'm almost embarrassed to admit how many Lincoln books I own. I will have to check...thanks! RE: Just thought you might wanna know.... - Gene C - 09-02-2014 02:43 PM That a great price! I bought mine two years ago for $8 and had to pay S&H, and was excited to get it at that price! It's a great resource book. RE: Just thought you might wanna know.... - LincolnMan - 09-02-2014 07:37 PM Was it ever published in hard cover? Bill, I am not 100% certain of this answer, but for now I will say "no." I bought it when it first came out, and a paperback version was sent to me without any other choices offered. RE: Just thought you might wanna know.... - Eva Elisabeth - 09-03-2014 05:46 AM I prefer paperbacks as they are lighter. I always take one or two books with me, mostly in a bag on my bike, and each gram and bit of volume less makes a difference (at least I believe that). I also read books in the sauna, too boring just to sit around, and paperbacks tolerate that better. |
