During the dark days of the Civil War, a doctor gives President Lincoln a puppy to buoy his spirits. (26min.)

I've watched a few of these-they have a famous director (like John Ford) direct a half-hour vignette.
Not bad sometimes.

But what will Abe name the dog??? Smile

Yes, thanks Mr. Hess..I want to try and catch this one as it concerns to of my fave fixations...AL and animals! Wink

I think it's based on the old publishing joke that since books about dogs, doctors, or Lincoln were always bestsellers, someone needed to write a book called Lincoln's Doctor's Dog, and it would be a surefire hit!
