Forgive me if I'm duplicating someone else's effort, but I haven't seen anything on the site about this event. If you live close to New York City, this presentation of "The Unknown 'Lincoln-Douglass' Debate" at the Metropolitian Museum of Art on Feb. 13 sounds fascinating. I wish I could go.

I hope they bring it to D.C. at some point. "Cedar Hill," the Anacostia (D.C.) home of Mr. Douglass is a great place to visit if you are in our area.
