Cool Civil War Story - Matt Macoubrie - 01-10-2014 11:37 AM I got this from the Civil War Trust website and I think it is a great patron to all teachers out there and to all the people that have ever thought that teachers do not work hard. As an incoming teacher, I know what it is like to be told that, but I know that deep down inside, we fight for everything and everyone . . . so thank you to those such as the 151st Pennsylvania Regiment who fought in battles such as the Battle of Gettysburg! http://www.civilwar.org/education/teachers/teachers-regiment/trading-rulers-for-rifles.html RE: Cool Civil War Story - HerbS - 01-10-2014 12:07 PM Great Story Matt! As a Teacher of History for 35yrs,I can relate to the "Teacher Thing"! I used to tell my Kodak and Xerox neighbors."That I go thru more drama and trauma in first hour of the day, than they do in a lifetime"!
