Sadly she can't run for the € either since the bills only depict boring buildings (at least in vivid colors).

I have to go with my top three as some of those already mentioned: Clara Barton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Susan B. Anthony. I read recently that Hamilton will not be removed from the $10 bill but that he will share space with the woman who is selected. That would seem to foreshadow a new bill design of some sort.

U.S. paper currency is certainly more colorful now than it's been in my lifetime, but a look at some older bills shows a bit more variety. Martha Washington even made an appearance!

So it wouldn't be the first time a female was on a United States paper currency!

Bill, a former employee of mine once told me that there was no way that anything that ever happened prior to 1986 could have any relevance to her.

College graduate, too!

I always thought it ironic that 3 presidents that contributed to some of the country's worse financial times are emblazoned as heroes on our money. Roosevelt, Jackson and Grant. The power of politics.

Never thought about that but you're absolutely right Jerry!

I am somewhat surprised no one has mentioned any of these well known and popular women:

Betty Crocker, Sara Lee, Aunt Jemima, Little Debbie, Dolly Madison, Mrs. Fields, and Wendy

My grandmother had Susan B.Anthony's sister as a teacher! She told me that she was an excellent teacher!
