RE: Assassination Trivia - Rsmyth - 03-28-2013 James J. Gifford. RE: Assassination Trivia - Laurie Verge - 03-28-2013 Gifford? RE: Assassination Trivia - J. Beckert - 03-28-2013 It's a tie. Laurie & Rich got it. Gifford was owed money for building Tudor Hall that Mary Ann Booth never paid him and this caused him to lose his own home. His association with Booth as an employee at Ford's cost him his freedom for a while. I've never heard how he got along with JWB, but Edwin said he hated him. RE: Assassination Trivia - Craig Hipkins - 04-03-2013 Is it William Withers the orchestra leader? RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 04-04-2013 I am sorry Laurie, Mr. Hess, and Craig, but it's none of those folks. Hint #2: He did not stay at the theater after the shot; he took off running.
