RE: Tough Tarbell Trivia - AussieMick - 04-06-2021 05:20 AM Advertising a product? RE: Tough Tarbell Trivia - Rob Wick - 04-06-2021 06:30 AM Mike and Roger, Steve actually got it. It was land speculation in Florida. Tarbell was approached by Harry Payne Button of McCall's Magazine to investigate the Florida land boom, so in 1926 she went there for several weeks. The clue about her becoming involved in a subject she wasn't knowun for is a reference to her discovery of the Florida architecture of Addison Mizner. She wrote an introduction to a book celebrating Mizner's work. Although it was reprinted by Dover, original copies are very rare and can bring a good price. Great job Steve!
