RE: Why Spielberg should win - and so should "Lincoln" - JMadonna - 02-26-2013 08:18 AM Once again the Oscars proved how much Hollywood hates Steven Spielberg and how much they love themselves. "Argos" was a movie in which Hollywood types are portrayed as heroic. A no-brainer choice for Hollywood. The year before the best picture was "The Artist" a silent film for heaven's sake about the early days of Hollywood. Anyone see a pattern here? RE: Why Spielberg should win - and so should "Lincoln" - Liz Rosenthal - 02-26-2013 09:40 AM Yes, the Oscar results definitely were a case of Hollywood patting itself on the back. But a lot of people are already saying that the Lincoln movie will stand the test of time; Argo will not. I certainly agree with that!
