Louis the nosey tenant,
had a very shiny nose
Whenever he was eavesdropping,
you could easily see it glow.
All of the other conspirators,
Used to laugh and call him names,
They never let poor Weichmann
Join in their subversive games.
Then one foggy Good Friday,
Mrs Surratt came to say
Weichman, with your nose so bright,
Won't you drive my buggy tonite.
Then all the feds just loved him.
And they shouted out with glee,
Louis will be our key witness,
Four of them will swing, you'll see
Yes Louis the nosey tenant,
You'll go down in history.

Herold's "Favorite Opera?!" A little hard to believe that Herold (or any of the boys!) would be high brow enough to serve as host to PBS' Masterpiece Theatre...that noise you just heard was Alistair Cooke rolling over....!

Ray Neff tried to tell us too
somehow Booth escaped
Some say he went to Texas
Others say to Mexico
Some say he went to India
I guess that we will never know
The story sells like hotcakes
It's really quite a mystery
The legend of Booth's escaping
Has become a cottage in-dus-try
