RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-21-2018 09:37 AM Nope, not Ed. Now that I think of it, I misspoke; this author did write at least two books on the Lincoln assassination. RE: Assassination Trivia - Eva Elisabeth - 05-21-2018 11:36 AM Philip Kunhardt? RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-21-2018 12:07 PM Nope, not Philip Kunhardt. RE: Assassination Trivia - Steve - 05-21-2018 12:52 PM A young Otto Eisenschiml? RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-21-2018 12:56 PM Nope, not Otto Eisenschiml. RE: Assassination Trivia - Gene C - 05-21-2018 02:29 PM Theodore Roscoe ? RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-21-2018 02:42 PM Congratulations, Gene! Yes, it's a young Theodore Roscoe. When I first posted the photo I was just thinking of Web of Conspiracy. Later I remembered he also wrote The Lincoln Assassination, April 14, 1865: Investigation of a President's Murder Uncovers a Web of Conspiracy. This is a much shorter book than Web of Conspiracy, and I think it's meant for younger readers (maybe 6th grade and up). RE: Assassination Trivia - Gene C - 05-21-2018 03:32 PM We know Roscoe mainly for his book, Web of Conspiracy. He also wrote The Man Who Hated Lincoln and a book about the Trent Affair (maybe a children's book). He wrote several, well received, non fiction books about WW2 submarine warfare (probably his best work). He is also known for his pulp fiction stories. A list of available books on Amazon by Roscoe https://www.amazon.com/Books-Theodore-Roscoe/s?ie=UTF8&page=1&rh=n%3A283155%2Cp_27%3ATheodore%20Roscoe RE: Assassination Trivia - L Verge - 05-21-2018 06:59 PM (05-21-2018 03:32 PM)Gene C Wrote: We know Roscoe mainly for his book, Web of Conspiracy. And even though later research has corrected some of the "errors" in The Web of Conspiracy, it is still one of my favorite books on the assassination. RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-29-2018 12:20 PM Who are these folks? RE: Assassination Trivia - AussieMick - 05-29-2018 05:24 PM Mr Joshua and Mrs Speed ? RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-29-2018 05:48 PM Nope, Michael, it's not them. RE: Assassination Trivia - RJNorton - 05-30-2018 03:44 AM Nope, not the Petersens. Hint #1: These two people had nothing to do with Lincoln's assassination, but it will be apparent why I put the question in the "assassination trivia" thread when the right answer is discovered.
