Sherlock Holmes and a photograph of Abraham Lincoln - David Lockmiller - 11-19-2017 11:38 AM

I was watching the movie "Sherlock Holmes and the Pearl of Death" this morning when I noticed in the background of the scene at 221-B Baker Street a framed photograph of President Abraham Lincoln.

I'm sure there are plenty of other movies with random portraits of Lincoln that could be used for trivia questions.

Is that Donald Pleasence in Halloween?

Excellent, Gene! Yes, it is Donald Pleasance in Halloween IV: The Return of Michael Meyers (1988).

I've never seen any of the Halloween movies, but I do recognize the 2nd picture from the Manchurian Candidate.

The Manchurian Candidate -- now there was a scary movie. I've thought about it frequently over the past decade...

Maybe somebody should start a movie trivia thread in the trivia section!

The Manchurian Candidate is correct. I recall how scared my mother was when she saw it. There is an article and photos regarding the movie here.
