Bill, I found it using Google Images. To be fair, I also like this one. Maybe Gene knows something about it.

Agreed, Herb. Although I've read descriptions that seem to indicate Lincoln preferred cats over dogs I do not believe I have seen a legitimate Lincoln quote where he himself divulges a preference.

I think that might have been taken by the great spiritual photographer, William Mumler.
Evidently the cosmic forces were a little stronger that day than they were when he took his more famous photo of Abraham and Mary (hence the clearer picture)
But don't quote me on that.

Cats are different from dogs in they are wierd,and I named my cat Judd after Judd Nelson in"Breakfast-Club".I inherited my black-Lab from my daughter,and she[Phoebe]was very loving! I think that Lincoln had Fido because dogs[Fido] were more popular to have.
