Many thanks to Steve for sending these articles. Steve writes, "The first is from page 9 of the 21 April 1892 edition of the Cincinnati Enquirer and the second is from page 8 of the 25 October 1899 edition of the Baltimore Sun.
They are both by George A. Townsend (or "GATH") and are about what Frederick Stone told Townsend about what David Herold told Stone when he was Herold's attorney.
