Thanks for sharing! Lexington is a beautiful town. I also enjoyed going to Lexington Cemetery and the home of Cassius Clay.
Thanks Roger. Great photo tour of the Mary Todd Lincoln home in Lexington. I'd like to have the bookcase in the guest room- very unusual.
Lincoln enjoyed staying here. He especially loved the library.
I second Anita! I loved the piano and the furniture in general!
I like the custom-made 3D-looking wallpaper in the house. (A lot of research, discovery, care and money to recreate.)
I also found interesting, if I remember correctly – The dining room floor has been recreated from clues. (Which clues from where? Family notes? Pattern-books from the time?) The floor and its neat pattern are made from natural linoleum. It seems like such a modern, unnatural material, but… Decorative, easy to clean. I can imagine guests being impressed by such modernity.
