Today would have been the 165th birthday of Ida M. Tarbell. She was born in 1857 in rural Erie County Pennsylvania in her grandparent's log cabin. Let the celebration begin!

(she got a huge senior citizens discount)

Gene, I would suggest a really good bottle of scotch as Ida had a thirst for the really good stuff. She didn't slam it down every day, but she did enjoy a shot or two at night.
