Once in a blue moon, I try to post something on my website. Thought you might enjoy this post about Frances Todd Wallace:

That was enjoyable.
I never knew.
Susan, I second Gene. That is really an informative article.

I checked the Lincoln Family Album (Neely and Holzer), and on p. 56 there is a photo of a woman the authors identify as Frances. Do you think the authors are correct and this is she?

This photo is in Stephen Berry's book as well, but the Lincoln Financial Foundation identifies it as being that of Frances's daughter, Frances "Fanny" Wallace, who died in 1881. I'm inclined to believe that the LFF identification is the correct one.

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed it very much.

You may already have these, but I'm sharing some newsclips which mention Mrs Frances J. Wallace just in case they are of interest.
Thanks! I hadn't seen the obit of Elizabeth or the one about Epsey Smith. I didn't realize that Elizabeth died so suddenly.

Years ago, I studied the photos and the former Lincoln Museum in Fort Wayne and helped them identify several members of the Todd family. This photo is Frances "Fanny" Wallace, the daughter of William Wallace and Frances Todd Wallace. Fanny died at the age of 32 from brain fever. She had been ill for several years.
Thanks, Donna!

Do you have the dates and names of the publications for each of these articles?
Thanks.

If you click on each newsclip and then save it to your computer the source information should appear for the name on each clip. If that doesn't work let me know and I'll give you the information. I included the information for each clip when I posted them, so it is there, but not showing.

I just noticed I can't access the 4th newslip for some reason, going left to right. Here is the information for all 5 clips.
