Absolutely nothing to do with Lincoln, but me and the missus went to our local Parade of Homes on our vacation. This house, which sold for $1,500,000 (not much in some locales, but a boatload of money here), has this master bathroom at the front of the house. Call me crazy, but I really don't want my neighbors to get to know me that well. Any thoughts?

Agreed 100%, Rob!
Definitely agree with Robert and Roger! I hope the new owner at least installs curtains for this bathroom.

Steve,

It doesn't show in the picture, but there are blinds on all three windows. My main problem is that even with blinds forms would be visible at night. In many of the homes we visited, the window at the tub has gotten, in my opinion, ridiculous.

I didn't know "open concept" has moved to bathroom designSmile
Do they offer a discount to exhibitionists who might be interested? Sort of like having a nudist beach right inside your front door.

Definitely not for the faint of heart. I have to say that otherwise, the house was beautiful.

It was custom built for a couple, but I'm not sure if they got a percentage "off."

Maybe the new owner could replace the street facing window with block glass.
I don’t think so!
In the shower, are those windows or just reflection of windows?

I suppose the windows around the bath tub will fog up from the steam of the hot water or the heavy breathing of the neighbors looking through the windows.
Cool

I like it, Rob. I get claustrophobic in rooms without windows, or with blinds or curtains. It's cool you can look out of the window while bathing. And it's quite a decent bathroom.
Steve,
Given that it was a custom home, I have to believe that was how they wanted it.

Gene, there was a window in the shower, but not on the right. That is a reflection from the window outside of the shower.

Eva, I could see that type of bathroom in Europe, but I couldn't handle it, and neither, dare I say, could my neighbors.

Rob - I would prefer one of these bathtubs, but would never pay that price for one: https://shareably.net/wooden-bathtub-sculptures/
Not sure that $30,000 and the word "practical" belong in the same story, but I have to admit they are beautiful.
