Just found out about this new book that came out in October. Great reviews (even one from a former docent at Surratt House).

There is supposed to be another book coming out in a few weeks that claims it has materials that even Hall and Kauffman didn't find. We'll see.

As far as no one else finding this story - Mr. Hall told me about George Washington Gayle about 40 years ago...
