In today's (Sunday, September 2, 2018) San Francisco Chronicle, there is a half-page advertisement for One Day University. The top portion has my favorite Lincoln photograph with a personal recommendation from Abraham Lincoln that reads as follows:
"I find that information on the Internet is often misleading or incomplete. That's why I attend One Day University." -- Abraham Lincoln
For a $119 "Early Bird" Registration Fee, one can attend a half day of class sessions at the Herbst Theatre, San Francisco War Memorial & Performing Arts Center on Saturday, September 22, from 9:30 AM - 1:15 PM. The curriculum features Psychology - "The Science of Happiness," instructed by Catherine Sanderson of Amherst College; Music - "Three Musical Masterpieces That Changed America," instructed by Anna Celenza of Georgetown University; and, Politics - How the 1960's Shaped American Politics Today," instructed by Leonhard Steinhorn of American University. Each period of instruction lasts one hour, five minutes with a fifteen minute break between each.
With a personal invitation and recommendation from Abraham Lincoln, I am sure the event will be a sell-out.
