Just the wildest of guesses...bits and pieces of the Garrett farmhouse?
That is an excellent and logical guess, Joe, but that is not where they are looking for something.
Someone's grave? Those are dowsing rods that are barely visible.
Good eyes, Laurie. You are on the right track. Whose grave?
I have seen this photo before, but I'll be darned if I can remember who, what, where!!

Wild Cat Den in southern Iowa.

Trying to find the grave of Michael O'Laughlen.
Excellent, Blaine. Laurie, we have discussed this before but not for several years.

It's just got to be true.

I found this in the Neff-Guttridge Collection at the Indiana State University Library

OMG - No wonder I could not remember it; it's one of those things that I try to push out of my memory.
Who is this lady?

Hint #1: She is very closely related to a person who has often been discussed on this forum.
Is it Weichman's sister?
Somehow one always thinks one has seen the person before.
Atzerodt?
She looks like a daughter (or sister).
Mrs. Quesenberry's daughter?
Thomas and Eva, all are thoughtful guesses, but unfortunately none is correct.
