Hint #1: The correct answer is in the Western Hemisphere.
Nope, not Mexico, Rob. You are very close, however.
That statue is in Havana, Cuba.
You can find it on the map the Dave Wiegers and I created:

We have recently updated and now have over 600 Lincoln sculptures (statue, bust, relief) represented! Check it out if you haven't already!!

Thanks for posting the web site Scott.
Interesting to see that there are no statues of Lincoln in Canada

You're welcome Gene!
As far as Lincoln sculptures in Canada. Every once in a while we hear of a supposed Lincoln sculpture in Canada, but we haven't yet been able to confirm any. One person sent us photo of a "Lincoln" statue in Canada. It was a bearded figure that was clearly not Lincoln, and with a little research, we were able to prove it wasn't Lincoln and find out who it was (but I can't remember the name now...). That was a close as we have come.
No googling please.
Where is this boulder located?
Let's modify the question - in what state is the boulder located?
I "Burlingamed" a possible correct answer of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Burlingame's work is written in chronological order.
"Later that month (August) Lincoln spoke in Kalamazoo, Michigan. . . . Cogently Lincoln argued that once slavery managed to take root in Kansas, attempts to expel it would fail." (Abraham Lincoln: A Life, Vol. One, p. 428)
I read an article about this boulder a couple days ago (likely Roger did the same), so I won't give away the answer. But I will say that Michigan is incorrect.
Since the article had this old picture, I was curious if the boulder was still in existence. The answer is yes. Here's a screen grab from Google Street View:

Thanks, Dave.
Iowa is incorrect, Gene.
"In early August, Lincoln swung throughout southeastern Illinois." (Abraham Lincoln: A Life, Vol. One, p. 428)
