I actually enjoy shoveling (to a certain degree) mainly because I don't have to do it as often out here in Maryland than I did in Illinois. I'd say my part of Southern Marylanf got two feet of snow. It's not as much as Jim Garrett did up in the more western part of Maryland but still top five snow storm for us in the region.

I got pretty far in my audiobook of The Martian, while shoveling repeatedly. I want to finish the book before watching the movie.

Kate and I also made Snow Ice Cream to celebrate the end of the snow and the end of my shoveling. It was mighty tasty: https://twitter.com/boothiebarn/status/6...6955009026

My school district has already called off school for tomorrow. Still a lot to dig out from under. I hope everyone else in the line of the storm fared well.

No snow here in lovely San Diego, CA lol! Bike ride today thru Presidio Park. Smile

Glad everyone here is safe from the snow storm.

Carolyn - Do you have a spare room I can rent from January through March each year? I have spoken to many people who travel the world, and San Diego is always mentioned as one of the greatest climates of all. Dr, William Hanchett, one of the Lincoln assassination experts and authors, has lived in your great city as long as I have known him.
Same here!
As you all know- the storm completely missed Michigan. I pray Forum members are safe and sound.
We only caught the edge of it here (three inches) so I'm safe.
The "sound" part is somewhat questionable.
Big Grin
I'm safe and sound!

Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes. My mom may have survived my all nighter last spring, but my parent have put up with me for 19 years and counting (see what I did there).
Gene-age is just a number!

My skid loader is now stuck. I', now flying the white flag.
The white flag is better than the red flag!

I saw a cute cartoon of the Washington Monument covered three-quarters of the way up with snow and a white flag of truce waving from the pinnacle. My thoughts exactly.
