The results of Jim's recent hospital test was not good. Surgery is scheduled. Please keep him in your thoughts.
I pray Jim will be OK.
We all send our thoughts and prayers. Jim is too valuable to this history community to be out of action for any length of time.
I pray everything will turn out well!!!
All best wishes to Jim!!! He's one of the great ones.

You are in my thoughts and prayers!
Jim, I am including my prayers here. Lots of positive energy is on it's way from the forum. Hope your surgery produces positive results and a speedy recovery.
So sorry to hear this. Wishing him the best.
Thank you all for the kind thoughts. Last week I felt a lump under my right breast and it was confirmed today that I have breast cancer. My family history regarding cancer is very dismal, both my mother and sister succumbed to breast cancer at roughly my current age and I also lost a daughter many years ago from a childhood brain tumor. This only strengthens my resolve that I will not let it get the best of me. I cannot stress more the necessity of self exams, and if there is anything that raises concern, move quickly.

I will keep all in the loop. Again my thanks and love to all.
Dear Jim,

The kind and sincere comments on this thread prove that "the greatest healing therapy is friendship and love." And you have it all, Jim.

God bless,
Reignette
You're in my prayers, Jim. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Jim-- I was reminded today of one of my favorite Walt Whitman quotes that I thought you might also like: "Keep your face always toward the sunshine-- and shadows will fall behind you."

Wishing you a full recovery and sending you many well wishes of comfort.
The Nash family will also be in prayer.
