Good guess, Roger, but it's not him.

Philip Green Wright?
I figured you'd get it pretty soon, Roger. It is Philip Green Wright, who was Sandburg's favorite professor at Lombard College and who, through his Asgard Press, was the first to publish Sandburg's work, including the very first time Sandburg wrote anything about Lincoln.

To celebrate a new year, your prize is that Asgard Press will publish your memoirs, to be sold only at Wrigley Field.

Richard Current? I swear on my mother's grave that I did not go to the site Roger posted before choosing Dr. Current. I have seen him speak a number of times, and the Lincoln Forum offers a prize in his honor annually.
You both are correct. I thought it would take a bit longer, but oh well.

OK, I think I might have one that will last a while. Who is this? He is an author, but not a journalist.

W.E.B Dubois? (Although the pictures I have seen of him show him with far less hair. Same eyes, though.)
Good guess Dave, but it isn't Du Bois.

Charles Downer Hazen?
Good tie-in with Tarbell, Roger, but it isn't Hazen.

Next clue. He and I have something in common.

Adrian A. Paradis?
I have to admit that's a new one on me, but it isn't him.
