Good idea, Roger, but, sorry, it's not Ninian Edwards!
Hint #1: You might be more familiar with his property than with his likeness.

Hint #2: He was a wholesale grocer.
Rollie Diller's father?
Very smart, Herr Beckert! I'm sorry to say no - not he.
Hint #2: This gentleman lived in Virginia, and was once sort of plundered by Unionists. (He was given money though, but without having agreed to the "deal").
Wild guess - Nicholas Austin Quesenberry? (Mrs. Quesenberry's deceased husband)
Another excellent guess, Roger! Well, hint #2 refers to something that had happened some time before the assassination.
Hint #3: More than once this gentleman provided (his private) facilities for military purpose.

Hint #4: On the hint#2 occasion, he was (most likely) given 60$ for two tables (some sources would sum up to 75$).
Wilmer McLean. What did I win?
Very good, Joe! This is correct.

Well, Herr Beckert, allow me to remark that as for asserting your claims, you do it with maximal efficiency and minimal ambiguity. No dancing around the point and elaborate sugar coating. So, what do you want - jewelry, sports cars, family homes? Well, I just checked the prize vault, and unfortunately this all is out of stock. Please let me know what else instead will be appreciated.
For my prize, next time I see you, we will do The German Happy Dance! Yah?

OMG, don't dislocate your hips, Joe. This looks dangerous for a guy your age.

That German Happy Dance looks awfully similar to the American Jitterbug of the 1940s and 50s...

I know, Roger. Something would definitely break. Painfully too, no doubt. Maybe we'll just do the Mildly Amused German Dance, Eva.
What is this man's name?
