I was looking online for Howard Pyle civil war paintings and found it. I also found this by Pyle - it's wonderful and very appropriate....
They are public domain since they are dated Turn of the 20th Century.

Thanks, he was a gifted illustrator and writer. I remember reading several of his books when I was in school.
