Laurie, I second Scott. Thank you so much for posting this. As a Cubs' fan who has mostly sad memories, this is one of my happiest. Rick Monday was a Cub for five years.
The son of a Cub's Fan, I tease my old man about it a lot. He tends to strike back by not letting me hear the last of Jeffrey Maier.

Even though I am traditionally for the Los Angeles Dodgers, I congratulate all of the long-suffering Chicago Cub fans out there. You deserve your triumph!!
