Olive Risley Seward was the same age as William's daughter who had died just a few years prior. He was 43 years older than Olive. She accompanied him on his domestic trips and abroad. How scandalous!

There were newspaper reports that they were to marry but I have a feeling that the Seward sons quashed that idea.
