A friend just sent me the following "historical information" from students' school papers:

On April 14, 1865, Abraham Lincoln went to the theater and got shot in his seat.

Under our Constitution of the United States the people enjoy the right to bare arms.

Writing at the same time as Shakespeare was Miquel Cervantes. He wrote Donkey Hote. John Milton wrote Paradise Lose. Then his wife died and he wrote Paradise Regained.
