Last month when in Springfield, Dr. James Cornelious and I had a discussion about this book. I wanted his opinion before making the purchase. His advice was to neither purchase it or read it. He read two pages of it in my presence, and both pages were filled with numerous mistakes.
Thanks, folks! I had planned to read a sample on Mr. Kindle tonight, but I think I'll spare Mr. Kindle the indignity.
Ooohhh...how did I not know about this?? I read everything I can on Mary, she fascinates me nearly as much as her husband does. But it's a little too pricey for me right now.
Lord knows Mary Todd Lincoln needs someone out there telling her side of things for a change...is there any new information?

Yes, there is! THE MARY LINCOLN ENIGMA is good because it gives twelve different points of view about Mary's life. Also, Jason Emerson has done some wonderful research regarding the insanity trial. He also has a new book coming soon about Mary and poetry. It should be an excellent read.
Hi Donna,
I've already read The Mary Lincoln Enigma, but thanks for the heads up about the poetry book. I can't wait!
