This is an interesting article on the fight to exhume JWB's body to prove that he did/didn't survive the Garrett Farm. Of course, any argument that JWB survived is nonsense, but it is nevertheless an interesting read. Poor Mr. Hall is deemed as "cantankerous" for daring to call baloney to the "Booth escaped" rubbish:

Even though I will never agree with Nate and the escapist theories, I did like this article for its pretty concise description of what historians have been going through for decades.
One note: Mention is made of Joanne Hulme being related through JWB's aunt, Jane Booth. Jane's married name was Mitchell if you run across her in your reading. The Mitchells appear to have been a rambunctious crew when they moved in with the Booths.
BTW: I love the name of this website -- The Verge!!! I tell people "Like the verge of insanity, and they remember my name."
