Kudos, Roger, that is correct! The natural life span of a turkey is 15 years btw.

Roger, I'm afraid turkeys are out, so you win my best wishes for a happy post-Thanksgiving weekend!

Brilliant, Reignette! Yes, that is a young Bess Truman.

You win a free pass to visit the Truman Home the next time you are in Independence, Missouri.

I don't ever remember seeing a full view of the Truman home, but it is almost identical to the Huntt family home that I grew up in (after its last renovation in 1905). Home that David Herold supposedly spent the night of April 13-14, 1865, in - and home that arsonists destroyed in May of 2014.

One of my Christmas presents this year was actually an enlarged snapshot of the home in 1987. My daughter enlarged the photo and framed it for me. I have it displayed in my office so that I can continue to gain glory over the David Herold story!

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
Excellent Roger! It is indeed Lucretia Garfield and her adult children. http://www.firstladies.org/biographies/f...ography=21

You win an opportunity to place an offer on Lucretia Garfield's home in Pasadena. "Set among mature oaks and Deodar cedars in South Pasadena, this chalet-style Craftsman by brothers Charles and Henry Greene is characterized by its decorative slat vents, stone accents and cross-gabled roof. Built in 1904 for Lucretia Garfield, widow of U.S. President James Garfield, the house retains such period details as ceramic-tiled fireplaces, paneled doors and detailed woodwork. Beneath the home is a 1,526-square-foot finished basement with a recording studio/media room and other creative spaces." Currently listed at $2.995 million go here to see this lovely home.

It's a beautiful home - if I was Vicki however I would first make sure that it wasn't I who has to clean the 4,426 square feet, five bedrooms and five bathrooms...
