I am sorry, Joe and Anita, but neither guess is correct.
Hint #1: The pet is buried in a dog cemetery in Maryland. |

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
The photo doesn't look to be from the 19th. century, so I'll guess Teddy Roosevelt.

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
No one has it yet.
Hint #2: Once there was a breakfast scheduled for 18 people at the White House. This pooch wrecked it by licking the food off the plates right before the attendees arrived to eat. |

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
I am taking a wild guess at the Coolidges since I read once that they had a bunch of dogs.

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
The Eisenhowers had a dog that was finally banned from the White House and sent to their Gettysburg farm. The dog in this photo and the clue you gave about ruining a reception might be their dog? Was it buried at Camp David in Maryland?

RE: Presidents and First Ladies Trivia
Nope, not the Eisenhowers' dog.
Hint #3: The dog came from Warm Springs, Georgia. Hint #3.5: The poor dog had a tragic fate. He ran into the White House fence, and sadly broke his neck and passed away. Hint #3.75: The dog's name was Winks. |

FDR's dog? I think FDR died in Warm Springs, didn't he?
