Family Comedy written by Member in the works
In 2013 a YouTube video of teenagers buying milk, throwing it up in the air, pretending to fall and the milk splattering all over the place gave a 16 year old fan an idea for a movie. Fast forward 4 years later, the ideas are written (with a minor re write in the works) on a screenplay for a movie which was pitched to the YouTube group is currently in the works of being pitched to a major studio for a targeted release of either May 3, 2019, or May 1, 2020. Titled "theCHAIZYchannel Movie" the film follows brothers Omar and Zayd and their cousin Faysal as they have to drive cross country to their family vacation in Florida after a ticketing mishap lands them in Las Vegas. The film also involves an angry newlywed vowing to hunt the guys down after her wedding day was ruined by a now viral prank video. Written by Forum member Thomas Kearney, kids of all ages will laugh at this summertime road movie. I hope to get it rated PG for mild peril and slapstick humor.

I will email it to Roger.

Good luck with this endeavor, Thomas.

Thomas e-mailed the screenplay to me, and I will send it to all folks who write me and would like a copy.

Just to clarify, Thomas - is this content of the movie or do you consider this something funny to share?

I hope not. Are you familiar with what a cow must endure to give us the milk intended to feed us?

She's born to soon give birth to a calf that immediately would be taken from her to milk a daily amount of 8-20 gallons from her oversized udder (barely allowing her to walk) for over 300 days just to in vain carry out the next to-be-taken-away calf, all this three, four times in a row to finally end up as the burger on your table because she cannot meet the required milk amount anymore. No, I cannot laugh about spilling milk and making fun of this (and honestly I have a hard time thinking this inspiring). So I hope I just misunderstood.

Eva, that is how the group became famous. I don't think they knew those facts. You probably did misunderstand

That is a shame. One of the first things in life my parents taught me was not to play with food (the least to make fun of it) as it is most disrespectful towards the people who starve as well as the creatures and nature it was taken from.

I honestly wish you had spared me of the thought this is what makes groups famous or inspires young people meanwhile.

PS: To add some facts to the milk cows' ca. 5-yrs-lasting life (natural lifespan 20yrs) - when a cow happens to be pregnant when the time has come she is found to have become unprofitable she would immediately be disposed of and shot. She wouldn't suffer from this procedure but the calf in her belly dies a slow and agonizing death from suffocating due to lacking oxygene enforcement.
