The movie (extended, no commercial edition) Smile Just a note, ITunes only offers the movie for sale. If the DVD has any extra features, ITunes won't include them.

Yes, extra footage cut from the TV version has been restored. The scene with Asia is extended, there is more dialogue at the Herndon House, and Tom Hanks has some extra lines. There are probably other parts because the movie runs about an hour and thirty-five minutes. The TV version is two hours but has commercials. Those are just the parts I recall off the top of my head.

Received my copy yesterday. I viewed the special section on "The making of Killing Lincoln". This part of the DVD went into the research in making the movie authentic.
I know the subject of Door 7 or Door 8 has been covered many times, but the DVD put a new wrinkle in the decision for JWB to enter door 8. The DVD mentioned that JWB entered door 8 because door 7 was locked or jammed and thus entry was denied. This is the first time I have heard this explanation?
