I'm Moving to Maryland!
After 23 years in North Carolina, we're packing up next week and moving to Brunswick, Maryland (in Frederick County, right on the Potomac).

I can't wait!

Sounds great, Susan -- I'm thinking of doing something similar someday.....

Thanks! It's going to be great to be within a commuter train ride of the National Archives,

That's fantastic! My husband and I were there last year looking for the building permit that James Blaine, who leased the Seward house in 1889, filed when he renovated the house. We didn't find any interesting info on his plans but the staff was very helpful and we found the building permit right away.

Susan, I', not too far from Brunswick. As I like to say about this part of Maryland, you're equally inconvenient from everything. Actually you are close to many great small towns such as Harper's Ferry, Winchester Va., Sharpsburg and Frederick. Welcome to the neighborhood.
