Awesome photos and I loved following along on Twitter! Whenever I managed to get a quiet moment at work on Saturday, I kept checking to see what was happening. I'd like to try and go next year!

Wonderful pictures, Betty! I loved spending time with you at the Conference. Your research and attention to detail never ceases to amaze me.

Here are a few pictures I put on my Twitter page:

Me with Susan Proctor at the Friday Reception; she is one of the best.

Great photos. Wish I took more. If you're ever by the Old Town Trolley Tour area, see if Jim Garrett is giving tours. He's comped a few of us Boothies on the Green Loop and does excellent!

Dave:

It was good seeing you again this year.

I gather from your comments here that you found fault with some of my remarks. Well, we've crossed swords before, so no surprise there. No need for you to apologize for expressing an opinion, as long as it's above the belt, nor to be "irked" by mine, as long as it meets the same standard. Unfortunately, I cannot access your opinion. Please share it with us in this medium so that I and others can have the benefit of your views and comment on the same. I am eager to have your "contrary evidence" as well as an understanding of what you mean by "distinct flirtations" between Booth and the Confederacy and by "concrete evidence". Permit me to say, at this time, that I do not "convince myself" of my conclusions; I am convinced by evidence and reason. Nor am I so "wrapped up in my own beliefs" that I cannot change them when anyone presents persuasive evidence and reason to the contrary, which is why I look forward to receiving yours.

I am sorry you did not bring your copy of Decapitating with you; I would have been happy to sign it--a personal touch to go with the reference to your contribution in the Acknowledgements. Next year for sure. Have you had a chance to read it yet?

John
