Wonder what makes it a "target" pistol? Was it the length of the barrel?
Obviously such a pistol would have been impractical for his use in the assassination- too large to conceal as easily. Also, it appears Booth was no stranger in handling firearms (if the account is to be taken as factual). Bill Nash |
